This place is wonderful for celebrating a special occasion with family, feeling at home, yet dreaming of last summer at the same time. The dishes are delicious, freshly prepared, and taste just like in a Greek restaurant by the sea. The desserts are heavenly and provide the perfect finishing touch. Aside from that, I also love the three daily changing lunch menus – with meat, fish, or vegetarian options – a little break during a busy workday that makes you think of your next vacation.
Once again, chance led us to this previously unknown restaurant. Our expectation was a good standard, and it was more than met. The zucchini pockets and the goat cheese in phyllo dough with honey were excellent. The mixed Greek grilled meat platter was also very good. However, the highlight was the orange cake with vanilla ice cream – something we would definitely try to recreate at home.
Greek restaurant in a quiet neighborhood of Vienna, very close to the historic center (and our hotel). Excellent service (especially from the young woman) and well-prepared dishes with authentic Greek cuisine. It's worth asking about the menu— for example, the dolmades (pictured) were not listed but were available, and they were delicious! We came back another day. The terrace is the best spot, but be mindful if you're a non-smoker, as you might end up next to someone smoking (as happens everywhere...).
